ACC has subsidised the price of this course  to help reduce the accident rate of motorcyclists.

 

Anyone can ride a bike...... they ride themselves.

It is the extra skills that make riding safe and fun.

 

If you already have your Learner Licence and are confident at riding in traffic, but want to lift your skills up to make your riding both safer and more fun, then the On Road Course is is for you. This is designed to pass on years of experience quickly to you. Our instructors are not car instructors that can ride bikes, but are hand picked motorcycle instructors and enthusiasts. Click here to see a profile of the instructors.
 

 

Starting with the basic skills every rider needs, but few have...


This course is is designed to improve both your city riding skills and open road riding. The goal is that with the extra skills you acquire in the course that you can handle all the hazards that come up in riding that makes riding more dangerous than a car. With the right skills you can avoid most things.


Learn road craft, reading corners and correct lines, all with a great view.

 

Courses:
Length of the course is a full day and content will vary depending the needs of those on the course.  All courses will cover emergency braking techniques, road positioning, target fixation, counter steering, low speed skills, basic bike maintenance, bike set up, correct lines for corners and will be a mixture of theory and practical.

NEW We are now offering a chance to do this course either as a full day, or split into two parts. One part in the evening and the second part either on a Saturday afternoon or time to suit you. (Less or no time off work)

  2. Book a day to do the course. You will be sent out all information needed to do the course and what you will need.
