To Qualify for the Course: Before you can undertake this course you must have held a FULL CAR (Class 1) LICENCE for at least six months then obtain a Class 2 Learner Licence. Course Options: 2 Day Course On your first day you will complete a logbook theory course and a written assessment (U.S. 24089).The second day you will do the class 2 theory and written assessment (U.S. 17574). Now all that is left is to book for a practical drive! Please be aware that the assessments are all closed book. Course Dates: Courses are scheduled daily as required so feel free to book at any time. CHECK OUT OUR NATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN ROAD TRANSPORT COURSE - Christchurch only You can get CLASS 2, CLASS 4, FORKLIFT and DANGEROUS GOOD or WHEELS TRACK & ROLLERS in 12 weeks (Student Loans may be available) Study Materials: When you book your training days at Mainland we will send you out some Study Books to start your course. You need to study these Books before you come, which will prepare you well for the assessment days at Mainland. During the assessment you will Not be allowed to refer to these notes so you will need to be very familiar with them. There are just 4 easy steps: - Get a medical certificate from your Doctor.
- Go to the AA or VTNZ to get your Class 2 Learner Licence.
- Book with Mainland and we will send Study Books to start your course. Then attend our TRAINING & ASSESSMENT Course (usually subsidised) - At the end of the Course, once you are competent, we will certify your pass.
- Take your PASS CERTIFICATE back to the AA or VTNZ and they will issue your FULL Class 2 Licence. (They will charge $44.30 for this)
What to do Next? Make an appointment with your doctor for your medical then go to the AA or VTNZ for your Learner test. As soon as you have your 2L, contact us to book your course.
