Length of Training Course: On your first day you will complete a logbook theory course and a written assessment (U.S. 24089) - if you haven't successfully completed U.S. 24089 within the past 12 months.The second day you will do the P endorsement theory and written assessment (U.S. 17579). Please be aware that the assessments are all closed book. Course Dates: Passenger Endorsement courses run approximately once a fortnight, so give us a call to find a date that suits you. Study Materials: When you book your training days at Mainland we will send you out some study notes to start your course. You should read over these notes before you come, which will prepare you well for the assessment days at Mainland. During the assessments you will not be allowed to refer to these notes so you should try to be familiar with them. If there is anything you don't understand or you need any help at all, please feel free to call our assessors on 0800 GET LICENCE. We are here to help! What You Get: After completing the training course you will receive a NZTA P Endorsement certificate. The certificate is to be taken to a licensing agent (AA or VTNZ) and they will begin the rest of the process. There are just 4 easy steps: Get a medical certificate from your Doctor. Book with Mainland and we will send Study Notes to start your course. Then attend our CLOSED BOOK TRAINING & ASSESSMENT DAYS. (usually subsidised) At the end of the course, when you are competent, we will certify your pass. Take your PASS CERTIFICATE and your medical certificate to the AA or VTNZ and book in to do your full licence test and your police clearance. Pass the full licence test with the testing officer and obtain your police clearance and they will issue you with your Passenger endorsement.
