To Qualify for the Course: Before you can undertake this course you must have held a FULL Class 2 LICENCE for at least six months. (Three months if over 25 years old) Then obtain a Class 4 Learner Licence. Length of Course: On your first day you will complete a logbook theory course and a written assessment (U.S. 24089) - if you haven't successfully completed U.S. 24089 within the past 12 months. The second day you will do the class 4 theory and written assessment (U.S. 17576). Please be aware that the assessments are all closed book. Following the successful completion of your two theory days you can then book your 2 hour practical assessment drive. Course Dates: Courses are scheduled daily, as required, so feel free to book at any time. Study Materials: When you book your training day at Mainland we will send you out some study notes to start your course. You should read over these notes before you come, which will prepare you well for the assessment day at Mainland. During the written assessment you will not be allowed to refer to these notes so you should try to be familiar with them. If there is anything you don't understand, or you need any help at all, please feel free to call our assessors on 0800 GET LICENCE. We are here to help! We are Here to Help You: We are dedicated to helping you and making your learning experience fun. Our assessors are NZTA approved and NZQA qualified. You will be in good hands. What Next? - Go to the AA or VTNZ to get your Class 4 Learner Licence. (No test to sit)
- Book with Mainland and we will send Study Notes to start your course. Then attend our TRAINING & ASSESSMENT course (usually subsidised) - at the end of the course, when you are competent, we will certify your pass.
