A vehicle operated in a passenger service where passengers are carried for hire or reward. This includes taxis, shuttles, limousines, tour-guide, vehicles, wheelchair vans, etc
A passenger service in which the carriage of passengers is made using the vehicle provided by one of the passengers and the driver is paid for the carriage or the transport of the passenger’s vehicle eg: dial-a-driver.
To Qualify for the Course:
You must have held a Full New Zealand Drivers Licence (Class 1) for at least 2 years. (You can apply for an exemption).
You can then attend our 2 Day Course.
Day 1: is Logbook and Fatigue Management (Unit Standard 24089) unless you have already successfully completed 24089 within the last 12 months)
Day 2: is P Endorsement Theory (Unit Standard 17579). Once you are competent, we will issue you a certificate.
You will then need to provide the following to AA to book in for your Full Licence Test
Medical Certificate from your Doctor (If you have not got one in the last 5 years)
Fit and Proper Person Check
Certificate from Mainland Driving School
